01
No account requiredYou can use the app without creating a profile.
02
No contacts, call logs, SMS or precise GPSThe current app does not request these sensitive permissions.
03
Search data stays local by defaultA number is sent to an external service only when you choose to open that service.
04
Privacy controlsGoogle UMP provides European and U.S. state privacy choices where applicable, and optional traffic analytics is remotely controlled.

At a glance: Caller ID does not require an account and does not request access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location. Some technical and advertising data may be processed by Google services and configured advertising partners such as Meta Audience Network, optional traffic analytics may be processed if remotely enabled, and external lookup/location websites process information under their own privacy policies when you choose to use them.

01

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Caller ID, identified by package callerfind.number.locator, published by AlinaDev.inc ("we", "us", or "our"). The public store title may change over time, but this package identifier uniquely identifies the app covered by this policy.

This policy covers the app's local phone-number analysis, search history and settings, optional links to external lookup and phone-location services, advertising and consent, optional remotely controlled traffic analytics, Firebase Remote Config, sharing, rating, and Google Play in-app review features.

02

Information that may be processed

Information you enter

You may enter or paste a phone number and select a country. The app uses this information to perform local validation and number analysis and, only when you explicitly choose an external service, to prepare that selected service for the lookup you requested.

Information stored locally on your device

Depending on your settings and use of the app, local storage may contain your language and theme, recent search history, the last phone number, interface state, rewarded-ad lookup credits, in-app review state, and similar preferences needed to provide the app experience. This information is not used to create a public profile.

Technical, advertising, and optional analytics information

Third-party SDKs and services used by the app may process technical data such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, device or advertising identifiers, device/app metadata, and configuration information for advertising, analytics related to ad delivery, fraud prevention, configuration delivery, service reliability, and—when optional traffic analytics is enabled—aggregate usage statistics. The exact processing can depend on your region, device settings, consent choices, and the services enabled in the app.

Information the current app does not request for its core features

  • No account registration, username, or password.
  • No access to your contacts or address book.
  • No access to call logs or SMS messages.
  • No microphone or camera access.
  • No precise GPS permission and no tracking of your device's live GPS location.
03

Phone-number analysis inside the app

Caller ID can analyze a number locally to normalize its format and, where information is available, show details such as the country, line type, approximate numbering area, or original carrier/network information. These results describe numbering-plan or carrier metadata and are not a GPS reading.

Important: The "Approximate Location" information shown locally does not reveal a phone's current or precise physical location.

Local analysis can be incomplete or outdated because phone numbers may be ported, reassigned, or used outside their original numbering area. Results should be treated as informational rather than as verified identity or live-location data.

04

External lookup, location, and affiliate services

Some features let you voluntarily open a third-party website inside an in-app browser to request additional phone-number information or a location-related service. The app may offer more than one external provider at the same time. You choose which provider, if any, you want to use; opening one service does not automatically open another.

When you tap a specific external-service button, the app may prefill the phone number and country you selected so you do not have to enter them again. External services are not opened merely because you entered or analyzed a number locally.

Once the external page is opened, that service is responsible for its own collection and use of data, including any phone number you submit, IP address, cookies, account or payment information, and any other information requested by that service. Their privacy policy and terms govern that processing.

Phone lookup

eMobileTracker

The app may open eMobileTracker for user-requested phone-number lookup information. eMobileTracker states that its site may process technical log data and cookies and publishes its own privacy rules for phone-number and spam-related information.

eMobileTracker Privacy Policy
Phone location

Phone-Location.com

The app may open Phone-Location.com when you explicitly choose a phone-location service. Any location request, consent flow, subscription, payment, or other information entered there is handled by Phone-Location.com under its own privacy policy and terms.

Phone-Location.com Privacy Policy

Affiliate disclosure

Some external-service links may be affiliate or referral links. If you purchase a subscription or other service after following such a link, we may receive a commission, normally at no additional cost to you. We do not receive your payment-card details from the external provider. Affiliate relationships do not change the provider's responsibility for its own privacy practices, pricing, subscription terms, or service results.

The availability of external providers and the destination used for a provider may be updated over time, including through remote configuration or redirect infrastructure, without requiring every change to be delivered as a new app version. The app does not use that flexibility to choose a provider on your behalf: you still explicitly choose which external service to open. If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will update this policy as appropriate.

05

Advertising, consent, and optional analytics

Caller ID uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising formats that may include App Open, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads. AdMob may use mediation to request ads from configured third-party advertising partners. In the current configuration, Meta Audience Network may participate as a bidding source for eligible interstitial and native ad requests. App Open and rewarded ad behavior continues to be managed through the Google Mobile Ads integration.

Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK may process data including IP address, user interactions, diagnostic information, device or advertising identifiers, and app/device metadata for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. Meta Audience Network may process advertising, device, network, interaction, diagnostic, and bidding-related information when it participates in an ad request. An IP address can be used by advertising providers to estimate a general location. This is separate from the app's local phone-number "Approximate Location" feature and does not give Caller ID access to precise GPS location.

Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and Privacy & Messaging tools are used to present advertising privacy choices where applicable. This includes European privacy messaging and, for supported U.S. states, a state privacy message that can provide applicable opt-out choices. Meta is configured as an advertising partner in the relevant Google privacy messaging settings. When privacy options are available in the app, Settings provides an entry point so you can review or change available choices.

Rewarded ads are optional. If you choose to watch one and the reward is successfully earned, the app may grant a limited number of lookup credits that suppress eligible full-screen ads when you leave Number Info or Approximate Location results. These credits do not disable App Open or native ads. The credit balance is stored locally on your device.

Optional Histats traffic analytics

The app includes a remotely controlled Histats integration for aggregate traffic and screen-usage statistics. This integration is disabled by default in the bundled app. If it is enabled through remote configuration, the app may load Histats and send technical visit information used for traffic statistics, such as network/IP information required to connect to the service, browser or device/system characteristics, referral information, and the generic app screen or virtual page being viewed.

Histats describes privacy and anonymization measures for its analytics service, including one-way hashing or anonymization of certain visitor/IP-related information and use of first-party-cookie techniques in applicable contexts. Our app-side Histats tracking uses generic screen names and virtual paths. It may also record generic events when you successfully open the optional eMobile or Phone Location service from the app. Those events use fixed labels only; they do not include the phone number you searched, the full external destination URL, or URL query parameters.

06

Firebase Remote Config and Installations

The app uses Firebase Remote Config to receive configuration values such as feature switches, advertising settings, placement controls, external-service controls, analytics switches, and other operational parameters without requiring a new app release for every configuration change.

Google documents that Firebase Remote Config automatically processes information used to deliver and target configuration, including country code, language code, time zone, platform and OS version, Firebase Android App ID, the app package name, and the Remote Config SDK version. Firebase-related requests may also include Firebase user-agent metadata such as device/app environment information used to provide, maintain, and improve Firebase services.

Firebase Remote Config uses Firebase Installations. Firebase Installations generates and collects a per-installation Firebase Installation ID (FID). Google states that this identifier does not uniquely identify a user or a physical device. It is not your searched phone number and we do not use it to create a public user profile.

The current app does not include the Firebase Analytics SDK as part of this setup. If additional Firebase products that materially change data processing are introduced, this policy will be updated.

07

Google Play, ratings, reviews, and sharing

The app provides a persistent "Rate app" option that opens the Google Play listing. It may also use Google Play's in-app review flow after you have used the app enough to provide meaningful feedback. Ratings and reviews submitted through that flow are handled by Google Play, not stored by us.

The "Share app" feature opens Android's system share sheet with a localized promotional message and the app's Google Play link. You choose the destination app. We do not use the share sheet to attach your phone-number search history or other private app data.

08

Your choices and controls

  • Ad privacy choices: Use the app's Privacy Options entry when Google UMP makes it available in your region.
  • U.S. state privacy choices: Where applicable, Google's U.S. state privacy message may provide choices relating to the sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by applicable law.
  • Data deletion: See our Data Deletion Instructions for steps to remove local app data and request deletion of developer-controlled data where applicable.
  • External services: External lookup and location services are optional. You decide which provider, if any, to open and use.
  • Rewarded ads: Watching a rewarded ad is optional and is not required to access the app's core lookup features.
  • Search history: Use the app's settings to clear saved search history and related local information where available.
  • Local app data: You can also clear the app's storage through Android settings or uninstall the app.
  • Advertising settings: Android/Google settings may provide controls to reset or delete the advertising ID or manage ad personalization.
  • Optional traffic analytics: Histats is controlled remotely by the developer and is disabled by default in the bundled app. Where applicable, platform or legal privacy requirements still apply to any enabled processing.
09

Retention, transfers, and security

Information stored locally by the app remains on your device until it is cleared, overwritten, reset, or removed when the app is uninstalled, subject to Android's platform behavior and any backups you have enabled.

Google, Meta Audience Network when it participates in mediated ad requests, Histats when enabled, and external service providers retain and process information according to their own privacy policies, service requirements, legal obligations, security/fraud-prevention needs, and retention schedules. Their systems may process information in countries other than your country of residence.

We use established platform and service providers and take reasonable steps to limit app-side access to information needed for the functions described here. Connections to the services described by this policy are intended to use secure HTTPS/TLS transport where supported. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10

Children's privacy

Caller ID is a general-audience utility and is not designed to create child profiles or knowingly request a child's name, email address, contacts, call logs, SMS, or precise GPS location. Where age, consent, or parental-authorization rules apply, users should use the app and any external service in accordance with applicable law and the provider's terms.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us using the details below so we can review the request. Information submitted to an external service must also be addressed with that provider when appropriate.

11

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for certain processing of personal data.

Because Caller ID does not require a user account and much of its app-specific state is stored locally, we may not be able to identify information as belonging to a particular person. For data controlled by Google, Meta Audience Network, Histats when enabled, or an external lookup/location provider, you may need to use that provider's privacy controls or contact that provider directly. For local app data and developer-controlled information, see our Data Deletion Instructions. You may also contact us for privacy questions relating to our app.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, advertising or consent behavior, analytics behavior, external service providers, affiliate relationships, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing when appropriate.
